Came through George Town after a day drive feeling a little peckish and happened upon this place on main street with a que out front and it was the right decision.
Freshly baked treats both sweet and savory and all made in-house. We ordered the customary sausage rolls, pepper steak meat pie, cream-filled lamington and a cream bun and headed down the water front.
The shop keepers were all friendly, cheerful and happy to tell you about anything they had in their display case. They had several varieties of full sized quiches that could be purchased or half if you prefer. They have ready made cut sandwiches, wraps, coffees and many sweets to decide between.

It was huge and it was delicious and you just can't buy them anywhere. I went back the next day, a Saturday to but some more and was astonished to find that this bakery didn't open on a Saturday (or a Sunday, but I can forgive them for that). I went back on the Monday, shocked and disappointed after being told that they didn't bake any 'snails' (danish pastries) on Mondays. My last try was on the Wednesday and that didn't have any again. At the end of our trip, we both agreed that nothing could beat this place. We fell in love with their cream buns - vanilla cream is just completely delectable.
