Delicious, clean, healthy, organic and incredibly tasty food that we know and have come to expect and love from the crew behind their previous incarnation, Orlando Plenty.

Ryan and the team continue to provide food with love and a point of difference with finesse, thought and creativity, while never moving far away from their local produce ethos and their renown quality and taste sensations on a plate. The rice and zuccini noodle salad bowl is a triumph as was the Frankham figs on a sourdough crumpet, house-made lemony whipped ricotta, toasted hazelnuts, Kim’s honey with organic orange special. Two incredible plates of food indeed! Also sensational coffee on offer and a providore with goodies that will tempt you. I want to keep this place a secret for myself but can no longer resist the urge to spread the word with sheer gusto! Well done and so proud of what you have created for the...

Stopped in on the way to Port Arthur for the day. Partner had Bircher Muesli, I had Eggs on toast, with Halloumi, Beans and Avo. Both enjoyed a coffee with it.

Breakfast was some of the freshest food I have had here in Tasmania. Everything is sourced locally, and you can taste the difference. The beans were amazing as well, all paired perfectly together.

Muesli was plentiful and fresh, nice berry compote, fresh fruit and overall tasty.

Great local coffee, brewed perfectly.

Bloke (presumably the owner?) who was behind the counter was amazing. Gave great recommendations for surrounding sights, and was very kind and friendly. You can tell he was passionate about the food and location.

Do visit...

Wonderful delicious food made with love and quality ingredients. I love all their interesting cookies and cakes and that they use organic coconut sugar over cheap refined white sugar, you can taste the difference. They do a great matcha too and they had quality soy milk rather than the cheap ‘alternative’ ones other cafes seem to use these days which have nasties like canola oil. Great to find these kinda of health conscious options in Tassie these days. I also bought a kilo of glorious locally sourced honey. Thank you Lanterns cafe team, I look forward to my next...

This little cafe is most definitely a hidden gem, we found ourselves here on our travels down to eagle hawk neck and we are so glad we did. They had a wide variety of options for brunch and some baked goods, most of which were gluten free which helped cater to half of our group! The coffee was delicious and the service was great, the lady at the front was very knowledgeable about each item. They also have a very cute little store that holds local businesses! Very nice and will be back when in the area next

Wow! A new and much needed addition on the road to Port Arthur, with The Lanterns at Dunalley. Simple and comfortable decor, plenty of parking and close public toilets make this a must stop location on this often travelled route to the south coast. Really great and innovative food, good coffee and engaging people. Add to all of that is a great range of organic and locally made provisions for the travellers.

When I googled "coffee" and "breakfast", this place did not pop up, only the bakery next door. I tried both and I must admit this place is better in every single aspect. Ambience, music, decor, service, coffee, food (the quality is great and they have healthy options!)... Literally everything!! I even think the coffee is cheaper.
