The Social Tasmania is a place of eclectic decorum with a variety of drinks and food for just about anyone!

My family, some family friends and I visited this funky location during our trip to St Helens. The food and drink selection here was wide and varied. It was here that we discovered a new alcoholic lemonade that wasn’t quite to my taste but my mum enjoyed. Though we didn’t order much in the way of food, the simple olive dish was the perfect snack for our smallish group.

The atmosphere was calming, despite the presence of a few accompanying young children. There are indoor and outdoor seating and table set ups for a variety of group sizes.

Overall, the experience was pleasant and welcoming. I definitely recommend this as a place to visit whilst in the St...

This place is EXCEPTIONAL. The attention to detail and discernment of the proprietors demonstrates their mastery of design. It is a true expression of art. I was drawn in by the quality of the music and how much effort has been taken to perfect the sound. The aesthetics are then absolutely delightful. Clearly the proprietors love their creation, and it was a joy to find something so unique again during the decline of Australian culture into cookie-cutter fast food. I haven't even eaten there yet, but they could serve dolphin and I'd only take off 1 star....

A truly unique spot; from the carefully curated decor, music, and cocktails, to the well-maintained landscape of the outdoor seating, a lot of thought has gone into making the space as memorable as the food. We enjoyed Japanese street food—fried chicken, chips with spicy aioli, and an exceptional slice of coconut cake. Can’t wait to go back and enjoy a new rotation (they have different food trucks featured throughout the week). It is a fun spot for kids, though it would be good for...

The vibe is incredible. The place feels like a time machine - straight to the 70s/80s. Impressive the way they decorated the place. The owners were very friendly as well. The beers were good, music too. We got there last and they accepted us, but the menu was limited at that time. Mac and cheese was good, sweet potatoes as well, but Cyprus salad not that good. Definitely a must if you are in the area.
