One 4 One Café — Restaurant in Tatura

What a disappointing experience we had on this Saturday morning. I ordered the Eggs Benedict with a side of bacon & a hash brown. After trying to eat the overcooked bacon that nearly broke my tooth I ate half of the hash brown which was very nice & was home made looking at its shape I then checked that my yolks were soft - very nice soft yokes but that's where the eggs finished. I cut some egg & some sourdough toast which unfortunately fell from my fork so just went with the egg - that is the 1st time a poached egg has been crunchy & to my amazement I had a mouthful of egg shell - yes you read right EGG SHELL, which we all know will put you off continuing your meal so I went up to the counter & advised one of the owners I believe of the misfortune & she nicely said I get you another service which I declined as I had really lost my appetite by the crunch of egg shell. The extremely disappointing thing about the whole experience is that when we went to pay$$$ our bill=the other meals that our group of 4 had they wanted me to pay half for the Eggs Benedict with EGG SHELL which I could not believe & promptly told them that I hadn't even eaten any of the toast or half of the bacon but yes I had eaten half of the hash brown & had definitely not eaten any more of the Poached Eggs. After a bit of a semi heated discussion about this she said well you can pay for half a hash brown because you ate half of that - I replied really - you are serious aren't you - happy to just get out of there I paid for my husbands breakfast & my coffee & HALF A HASH BROWN. My suggestion/recommendation - don't bother - extremely poor customer service, from all staff especially the owners who did not want to show any empathy in their menu item which should now be known as EGGS BENEDICT WITH EGG SHELL.

The next day we ventured to ITALIAN CAFE A ROMA across the road from the EGG SHELL cafe for breakfast - how wonderful is this cafe - amazing omelette which is what I had & the others had great meals which were priced so reasonably it was the best start to our Sunday - fantastic coffee also with such wonderful staff - a beautiful family...

Amazing Food + Generous Servings. We had Rita cater for our 50+ guests for an engagement party providing 5 salads + pulled beef brisket, roast chicken & falafel. The food was absolutely beautiful, all made with obviously fresh and very healthy ingredients. The falafels were sensational and the meat great. The food is fantastic, don't get me wrong. It can be a little pricey but honestly I think it's worth it. HOWEVER. After finding a small hair in my food, one that I was positive wasn't one of mine, I brought it to the attention of staff, and the way they handled the situation was far from acceptable. They essentially claimed it must've been one of mine because the kitchen staff "has fairly long hair, it can't be hers" while giving me a look of disapproval.
