We came here on a nice sunny Sunday from Ballarat, and it was definitely worth the drive. There was a great selection of hot food on offer and we settled on a Cornish pastie, sausage roll, regular pie and a mushroom pie. They were all amazing, proper fresh mushrooms in the pie and heaps of veg in the pastie. The kids loved the sausage rolls (they are really big) and my wife said the plain pie was possibly the best she has ever had. We grabbed a couple of of slices as well, notable was the vanilla slice. 👌 Great little spot only a couple of min drive from the Trentham Falls and we'll worth the drive up from Ballarat or surrounding areas.

A great country bakery. Pass through Trentham regularly and the bakery has my vote for best coffee in town. Pies are luscious with beautiful flaky pastry. Hard to stop at just one. Service is very friendly, and very helpful. Take away, or eat in or at tables Out front. Very reasonable prices: two pies and two coffees was $20…good value. Worth stopping for if passing through. Thanks.

Good little bakery with a small range of cakes to choose from. There was other products available but had come late in the day. Drinks were good (coffee and hot chocolate), but were not able to sit inside long enough to drink them, due to arriving not long before closing time. Friendly staff.

On top of the pie warmer they have a menu that reads: PIES: Beef Pepper steak Curry pie Potato Mushroom (etc) Well, I ordered a mushroom pie, bit into it..... and its beef and mushroom. I'm a vegetarian. I almost vomited. I went back inside and asked if it was beef and they said "yeah, all the pies on the left side of the menu are beef." I pointed out that is NOT clear on the menu at all. I was offered no compensation or refund. (until later when i came back a 2nd time, they gave me a cash refund. Not sure what else to expect from a bunch of 16 year olds working their sunday morning job, likely not paid enough to care really). I ordered then instead a 'spinach and cheese' pastie. Never in my life have I has a spinach and cheddar cheese pastry. It was terrible. The cheese was a weird gritty, floury texture and the flavour was pretty bad. So incredibly...
