Karma Indian — Restaurant in Tweed Heads

I ordered the garlic naan, dal tadka and goat rogan josh. Even though there was a glitch with the online booking and pick up times were not operating on daylight savings, my food was quickly prepared, and I was not left waiting. The bread was heavenly- charred on the outside yet so light and fluffy, and the papadum fresh and brittle. The dal was a little watery for my liking. I found the heat in each dish overpowered the other hidden flavours despite having chosen a medium spicy setting. The goat was very tender. When I order again, I will need to dial down the heat. We have just enjoyed a delicious meal from Karma Indian. The online ordering was fantastic and very easy. You are given the option to add notes about how much heat you like in each dish. We ordered vegetable samosas (2 per serve), chicken tikka, pani puri, naan (huge pieces so probably didn’t need one each but it was so yummy we used it to soak up all the curry sauces), lamb saag mushroom and paneer makhani (sweeter curry - kids loved it) plus saffron rice. I love walking into a good Indian food restaurant and the smell of the food hits you instantly. Food was so tasty and goooood and great value for money, leftovers will do for a whole other meal for two. We were the only people in here tonite and so many meals going out for peoples takeaway. It’s a lovely well spaced pleasant restaurant to eat at so do yourself a favour and go out to eat. Chef and hubby were so lovely as well. Just moved to the area and so glad I found my local Indian restaurant first try out so will be back again...
