La De Da Bakery — Restaurant in New South Wales

Go the chunky steak pie!! I don’t write reviews unless I really feel impressed. I have been going here on and off for 3 years now whenever I travel down to tweed heads from northern Gold Coast once a week for work. I can only vouch for the pies. So far So good, always consistently good with their pies, especially the chunky steak, and also the tomato and onion. $9 but I can see why, and I’m happy to pay premium for something this good, and still always better than any $15 maccas burger, high quality ingredients and the flavour is like an old school Aussie country bakery pie from the 80’s. I eat pies all over SEQ, when I travel for work, a quality pie is a hard to come by more and more nowadays, and so the la de da chunky steak is definitely a favourite of mine. If you want a five dollar pie, go to the servo for a Mrs Mac’s, if you want a decent meal that won’t leave you feeling like you made a massive mistake half an hour later, go the la de da chunky steak. This is bakery is the finest bakery I have ever been to in my 56 years of living. I’ve been all over Australia and nothing compares to a hot pie from la de da bakery. Always always always make sure to pair it with a sweet treat or cool refreshing drink. The sweet treats are decadent and come in a big portion especially for the good prices. Special shoutout to the chocolate eclairs which taste just like how my nanna used to make them, you can definitely taste the love they bake them with! Props to these hard working pastry chefs, they were taught well! The bakery itself is also a clean and tidy establishment with the friendly and helpful staff wearing gloves or using tongs to pick up the food!! As a mother you are always looking for a good spot for lunch or to hang with the girls and I must say this bakery has topped my Charts! I am a loyal la de da Stan forever!! Best...

Even though I don't live on the same side of town as La De Da bakery since last year, I will still go out of my way to go get our family bread and some other goodies from this bakery even though there's 2 bakeries close to where I live.

We have tried other bakeries loaves of bread, NO ONE compares to la De Da...when I couldn't be bothered making an actual sandwich I'll either buy one from la De Da which they make THE BEST sandwiches, sweet treats and have the best bread ever...I eat a few slices with just butter sometimes it's that good.
