RIVERLAND KITCHEN TWEED HEADS — Restaurant in New South Wales

First time back here since new owners and re-fit. Came for a Saturday breeky and wasn’t disappointed. Loved the updated furniture and re arrangement of tables. It looks crisper/cleaner and well stocked. We are locals so it’s nice to have a place where we can take guests and Family when they visit. Service was easy, informal and very clear with order repeated back to you. Drinks arrived in good time with a smile and NO complaints. We had a Latte, Chai Latte, Melon magic and my Tea. This is one of very ‘few’ places that gets my order for a pot of tea with ‘x2’ milks correct. (I like it milky). Just interesting to see how many places actually get this right. I might even start to comment on my Reviews about this, as I leave it out! Food arrived in good time…..The young Adults had the L.A Bagel which they polished off. A Sunday fry-up also went quickly but left the sourdough toast. I had scrambled eggs with a side of bacon and avocado. Loved the way they did the scrambled eggs. Presentation was good and the Staff were polite. It was a great way to spend the morning. Prices are similar to Tweed/Cooli Cafés so why not try this little Local...

Food is amazing, chef takes great pride in his cooking. Staff are all wonderful and happy.

However, the barista woman has repeatedly demonstrated a sour, rude and unapproachable demeanour towards customers in my presence. Several occasions she has clapped back at simple requests, like a napkin, water, bathroom key, as if it’s not her job to assist with these requests. She is unfriendly and doesn’t seem to enjoy working with people. I sit at a table to collect coffee now, avoiding going to her window...

Waffle fries are over-cooked. We didn't end up eating them, that bad.
