I took my wife out for Dinner and couldn’t believe how a Restaurant could comply with Health Department. There were fly filled Sunscreens directly above us in the Skylights and I couldn’t stop sneezing from the amount of dust in the place. After my wife received under cooked Chicken she decided to go straight to Desert to kill the foul taste in her mouth , yet after taking a bite of cake , she is fortunate to even have any teeth left as the cake was frozen rock hard. This is the cafe that doesn’t sell coffee! We came by one evening looking for coffee and were politely told they didn’t serve coffee at that time of day. There were perhaps 8 people dining at the time! They suggested Pier 70 cafe/bar/restaurant across the road. So that’s where we went, and then went there for dinner the following three evenings. On our way back to Melbourne we recently had dinner at Alma's and can say that the service from Tim (senior) (front of house) was excellent as was the Meal prepared by Tim (Junior) ( Owner & Chef). We were only sorry we did not find them on our first night in town Sadly we had our dinner on the first night at the nearby Hotel and it was not great.
