They prioritise menulog orders. Doesn't matter if you order in person, they ignore that order and put through as many menulog orders as possible. Our order took over almost 2 hrs in person. Ordered via menulog and took 30 mins to get cooked and delivered (try the challenge yourself, only if you've got time to burn and happy being treated poorly when you do the in person order). Very, very bad service for very average food. Any dish with fried chicken/pork is appalling. Finding the meat in amongst the batter is like finding a needle in a haystack, seriously. Great if you want fried batter only. If you expect meat inside, don't get your hopes up. Dreadful. After giving this place the benefit of the doubt and ordered both in person and via menulog a couple of times, I'll never ever come back. Ordering via menulog is quick, but far to expensive. Ordering in person is more reasonably priced, but be prepared for a couple of hours wait time as they serve others ahead of yourself...
Read moreI ordered the special fried rice and honey chicken. The fried rice was fresh and very nice only thing was it lacked a bit in flavor which is odd because it has alot of things in the special fried rice you get a decent amount for $18 I would be happy to pay that much for it if it was more flavoursome. Honey chicken had lovely flavour my only critic on it was that the batter was very thick and in some pieces there was only a small amount of chicken and the rest of the piece being mostly batter. Would I go there again? yes. Just to see the consistency in quality of food because it does have potential to be...
Read moreThe Chicken Laksa soup I got for lunch today was superb, and great value. The broth was so tasty and creamy with a lovely after-warmth, perfect on a cold and drizzly day. It was such a very large serving, so full of vegetables, chicken pieces and noodles, that I couldn’t eat it all. I could have had the rest of the soup for dinner but I couldn’t stop myself drinking all the beautiful warming broth and eating all the chicken pieces, so for dinner I’ll be heating up the rest of the vegetables and noodles with an egg or two stirred through. I’m definitely going back for Laksa next time...
