Spice Blast Indian Restaurant & Takeaway Wodonga — Restaurant in New South Wales

My partner and I had been craving Indian food after being recommended to come here I will not be going anywhere else. The fact that we got samples to try as well as the food we ordered was just beyond amazing for customer service. The smell the minute you walked into the store was amazing and drool worthy. We are both very big eaters so we ordered quite a lot we had the lamb vindaloo as I like hot food and oh my god the flavours were just amazing good kick of heat the meat was so so tender. 3 naan bread garlic/butter so soft. Prawn masala it's been a while since I've had a seafood Indian dish and this was so delightful. My partner ordered the coconut beef korma and the butter chicken he said it was the best butter chicken he's ever had and we were both extremely happy with the coconut beef korma. Our samples we had apple and cinnamon chicken I was really curious to try this and it was so insanely good savoury but sweet and you just wanted to keep going back for more. I'm very experienced when it gets to Indian food. I've been tempted to try Spice Blast based on the tons of great reviews on Google. Now, I get that the (presumably) owner is working alone, but it definitely doesn't help to have to go all the way knocking at the kitchen door to call him for something. The atmosphere is good, clear glass sighting a spacious parking lot. Now for the food, the cheesy garlic naan and bahajis were great but the main course is a different story. The chicken peices feel like tofu, undercooked, and peices are so big that they hardly fit in the spoon. It doesn't help when they don't serve forks and knifes until you ask them. The butter sauce we tried didn't taste like butter and the saffron rice does not taste like rice either. I may have visited them on their bad day but n excuse. If your looking for some good Indian food then this is the place for you to come along to or if you are thinking you might like to try some Indian this is also the place for you. They guys have their regular curries that they do each day but they also change things up from day to day but if your not sure about the cuisine or are unsure what you may like then the fellas are more than happy to give you a sample of any curry your interested in that way you know what your getting n there won't be any surprises once you get your food home. It is really good value for money n along with their curry you have to get yourself some of their butter naan, garlic naan or the butter paratha they are amazing delicious golden, flakey, crispy brown flatbread.
