With casual and cosy vibes, great food and family service to boot this little local gem is defiantly treasured !

We finally actually stopped here for breaky after driving past many times after moving here saying “oh we really have to try that place”. We went in with our 4 year old and 2 year old and got a table straight away with a friendly smile. I went up to order and both owners (husband and wife) were just absolutely lovely, they asked about my kids and having the same aged son’s we exchanged cheeky stories. After ordering our drinks came out almost instantly and shortly after followed our food. I ordered the smashed avo and it was delicious with super fresh ingredients. Husband had the breaky roll and it was again fresh with clean great flavour. Kids had a cheese toasty..a kids toasty is a toasty, nothing overly fancy but that’s what you want from a kids menu.

Bean & Base food and customer service is just perfect unless you have Celiac disease. We visited 3 times. My husband has Celiac Disease and the first time we visited was exquisite! The food, the coffee, atmosphere and the service was just amazing! We came back of course because we decided that this will be our favorite cafe. Unfortunately, after the second visit, my husband had an intense reaction but we did not want to assume because the food and everything was just so good! So we came back the 3rd time and that visit nailed it -everything was exquisite as usual but my husband has another debilitatingly bad reaction when we got home. We are sad that we cannot visit this amazing place anymore. The physical pain and psychological distress of Celiac Disease, when one’s body is attacking itself is just not worth it. 😢 We truly hope that the chef will try to learn more about Celiac Disease and take...

Booked a Mother’s Day breakfast and had to book for 8.30am. They had three settings and pay a $5 deposit person. All good with that Arrived 8.30.. people waiting out front , staff still setting tables , not organised at all

They crammed so many tables in side you couldn’t move, people bumping into each other, staff bumping you as they tried to navigate around , it was very unpleasant experience Staff didn’t have a smile on their faces , you’d think for Mother’s Day they would welcome the ladies and wish them a great day It was obvious that they took a greedy approach to the day at the expense of creating a wonderful environment for the customers One family actually got up to leave it was that bad Went to pay bill and they hadn’t even taken the deposit off the bill until I reminded them.
