Pies we tried were very dry and tastless. Tried 4 different varieties between us and they were all terrible. The quiche was bland with I think 1 piece of ham in it and the ham and cheese croissants were flattened in a sandwich toaster defeating the whole idea of a light and fluffy pastry that it should be.The service was prompt and friendly but the food we had was truly awful. Ā Ā Ā Read moreA very friendly, quality country bakery with all the staples you might be looking for. Great hygiene with sandwiches and pastries always made and handled with gloves. I love to be able to make my own roll or sandwich, with lots of filling and bread choices. Hot pies and sausage rolls, ready to eat in or takeaway. Lots of home-baked, sweet treats available too - vanilla slice, custard tarts, scones jam and cream, doughnuts, etc. A good selection of coffees and cold drinks, including homemade milkshakes, iced coffees, etc. Seating available onside and outside under unbrellas. Very friendly staff who look after you. Thank you so much, ladies of Bouwmeesters Bakery! A credit to Benalla....

Perhaps some customer service training would be in order. Only reason the one star is given is that without it l canāt...
