Commercial Hotel Broadford — Restaurant in Victoria

What a great turn around this pub has gone through, had a great chef, lost him for whatever reason (I'm tipping the publican's ignorance and lack of appreciation of what he had) then a new chef; wasn't up to the previous standard by a long way! But now, WOW...what a difference a chef with pride and talent who cares more about quality and quantity with a genuine smile and way of being! I decided to drop in with the better half hearing they had a new chef and what a difference he's made along with his staff. Did a the roast lunch and received meals quickly...and they were fantastic! You really you couldn't ask for more as the service combined with the meals were clean and crisp as no compromise was taken using quality food and presentation being spot on!!! If you want a guaranteed grouse feed then plonk your arse at this place, chill out and enjoy all it has to offer in an uncomplicated manner with an open fire, champagne service and meals with beer money...first class service going back to old school values plus great food all in a non...

★☆☆☆☆ Disappointing – Not Worth the Money

We visited the Broadford Top Pub expecting a decent family meal but left completely underwhelmed. The service was painfully slow — not because the staff were busy, but because they just moved at a snail's pace. They weren’t chatting or distracted, just lazy and unmotivated, which made the whole experience frustrating from the start.

The food was no better. The kids' meals were tiny — our children were still hungry afterwards, which defeats the whole purpose of a kids’ menu. The adult meals weren’t much better: small portions, average quality, and definitely not worth the price. For what you pay, you expect to at least feel satisfied, but none of us did.

Overall, it felt like the bare minimum effort across the board. If you’re looking for good food, value for money, or even just basic service, this is not the place. Definitely...

Our tour group had the most wonderful meal here as we were returning home from a number of days in Canberra trip. Nothing was too much effort from the kitchen and bar staff. The meals were extremely generous and beautifully presented and flavorful. We preordered and the service was prompt and friendly. Thank you so much for making our last meal away so memorable! Locals in the pub were quick to tell me how friendly Broadford is and the Top Pub has the best tucker and fun events throughout...
