Country Soul Cafe — Restaurant in Victoria

Travelling back to Melbourne from Benalla we like to stop off in the country towns off the freeway, after stopping for fuel at the Melbourne bound Foodary service station we were disgusted by the smell inside the restaurant area and was greeted by the overflowing rubbish bins around the building, so wo headed off to check out the local towns which means diverting off the freeway, we chose to head into Broadford and drive up and down to have a bit of a look and spotted this lovely Modern cafe and it had 15 patrons inside and found the menu with great food offerings friendly attentive staff good HOT COFFEE and internal CLEAN TOILET, we are always happy to exit the freeway to checkout these towns who need our business & forget about those large companies running big brands and fuel stops, we also stopped into Violet Town to the HUGHE LOCAL MARKET 👌🏼NOW TRAVELLERS LOOK IT UP AND VISIT THEIR MARKET DAYS👏🏻Thanks soul cafe we have told our friends about your local cafe and said take the exit to Broadford off the HUME HWY and spend a few bucks on some great great...

Worst customer service asked to clean a table then waitress remove the stuff then waited 10min again asked to wipe table as there was lots of crumbs and water rings on from the dirty glasses that the waitress cleaned 10min before. The waitress walked up in a bad mood we said thank you even tho they didn't do the job properly in the first place. She was rude and just walked straight off. I asked her to speak to her manager which she was standing at the coffee machine. She just put her head down. After this pour customer service we decided to leave due to the pour customer service. On the way out we said to the manger who was still standing at the coffee machine we are not happy and are leaving. She then said she was gonna refuse us because of there pour customer service and asking to speak with a manager.

Worst place in Broadford highly recommend...

As good as any cafe (Melbourne or Rural) I reckon! Yummy sausage roll (house made) for a treat very occasionally. A good flat white coffee (Vita soy). Previously had the veggie frittata with chutney which was simply delicious. For wicked treat for Vanilla Slice lovers you had better indulge in their house made delight. Looks excellent but have not tasted. Also all their food looks 5 star rated to me. Outside was deserted due to mid Winter weather (chilly indeed) on the 15th December be a nice spot on a warmer day!...
