Corio Pizza — Restaurant in Victoria

After my initial attempt to order the 4 corners I was told they didn't have the ingredients so whilst I tried to ask my daughter what she wanted I was told by the manager who was very rude" Were extremely busy here ring back when you know what you want". Unfortunately I gave him the benefit of the doubt and rang back our order. Big mistake!!!!! Pizza vs with no cheese on the top, dried up ham and mushrooms. I've had pizzas all around Australia and NEVER not had cheese on the top. I rang Corio only to be told by the manager "you didn't ask for cheese". I said cheese was in the description. I was then told I had to specifically ask for extra cheese on top.Are you serious????? The manager then argued with me stating your obviously not from Geelong and don't know how to order a pizza..... Ummm no. This is the most disgusting pizza I've ever seen. Furthermore the spaghetti pizza that said "spaghetti sauce" not full tin of spaghetti dumped on it!!!!!! Absolutely foul. Not palitable. Carbonara pasta stated "bacon" yet it was a few tiny pieces of deli ham and no taste. $56 dollars out of pocket plus the tip my husband gave to the person...

Both our pizzas were inedible, and found themselves in the bin before a mercy dash to Maccas.

We ordered the 'meat lovers' and the 'special'.

The meat lovers is described as tomato, cheese and ground beef. This should have been one of many red flags we missed. We added chicken and bacon to bump up the meat portion of the pizza. It tasted like boiled mince meat. Utterly revolting. It was also burnt to a crisp on the base.

The special was anything but. Tomato, Cheese, Ham, Anchovies, Hot Salami, Peppers, Chillies & Mushrooms. Stale old grey, slimy mushrooms. Zero cheese. No flavour whatsoever. Never found an anchovy, despite fishing through the inch thick shredded spam to find them.

If it weren't for the terrifying part of town this pizza place resides in, we would have taken them back and demanded a refund. A total waste of time and money. Nobody should be able to get...

We got a capricciosa (with extra olives and anchovies), meat lovers, a special and a vegetarian pizza.

When we first opened the boxes the first thing we realised was mushrooms. Lots and lots of mushrooms. Literally covering most of the pizzas. Except the mushrooms looked soggy and like they were from a can. The caprichosa consisted of a very hard base, a super thin layer of cheese, ham, a tiny handful of olives and barely any anchovies even though I paid for extras. And again, a bucket load of mushrooms that tasted horrible. The meat lovers was literally just mince meat with sauce. One of the worst examples of a meat lovers. The special just looked like a carbon copy of the capricciosa with a few green peppers by the looks of it. All round the pizzas were pretty bloody bad. I can see a lot of good reviews here from the past, so my guess is there's no more love in the food anymore. Really...
