D'Arcys Bakery — Restaurant in Victoria

I don't live in the Bendigo area but now whenever I'm visiting my dad D'Arcys Bakery in Eaglehawk will be a must stop everytime.

The coffee was fantastic, the pie was fantastic, and the cinnamon doughnuts were delicious.

But above all that the staff are amazing. I accidentally spilt my coffee all over myself on the way out the door and the staff member ran out to make sure I was ok and to offer to make me another coffee.

Kindness like this is a rare thing these days. And added to that I'd had an extremely bad few days and this interaction put a smile back on my face and gave me faith in humanity again.

Can't recommend this bakery more. What gives them 10 stars out of...

This is an addition to my post from 6 months ago that is after this statement. I can't believe what I've done. Going to Darcy's has spoilt me. Everywhere else I go for lunch just pales in comparison. Darcy's is easily the best bakery. Their salad rolls are just delicious. I go to other places and am constantly disappointed as I compare them to Darcy's salad rolls. I love coming into Darcy’s, such a lovely atmosphere with very lovely staff, but the coffee is close to undrinkable. I’ve been going for a few months now and it always tastes like water from the creek which makes me feel sick. I think the machine needs a proper clean, coming from working at a cafe I can taste the old ground coffee beans in my coffee. Hopefully this helps as I love coming in but need the coffee fixed,...
