Just ordered takeaway from Delhi Diner. I wouldn’t recommend this restaurant if my life depended on it. Where do I start? The butter chicken is appalling, super sweet, bright orange in colour and tastes like it came from a jar of Kantong, aside from being orange and having chicken, none of the other properties of this curry are remotely similar to butter chicken. I can say exactly that about the lamb rogan josh, I’m not entirely sure what was served to me, however, it definitely was NOT rogan josh… Rice was over cooked, breads were average and tandoori chicken was mediocre at best. Order: Amritsari Kulcha Chicken Chilli

Chicken chilly is one of the best Chilly chicken I have tried in Victoria

Amritsar kulcha was not as crunchy as you find in Amritsar but indeed the flavour was up the mark. Only thing that was missing that sour turmirind sauce

Service: they welcomed us with smily face. Changed our plates after starter and checked back on us if we need anything.

Cleaning: I always check washrooms to see the cleaning level. And I found the washroom very clean.

Music was too loud and the fans flicking over the light made me a bit dizzy because of the shadows they cast (i’m epileptic so probably not an issue for most people!). Waitress was lovely, very friendly. The service was quick however the food really wasn’t great. For $70, the rice was okay but the dishes themselves weren’t good.
