Ferguson Plarre's Bakehouse - Kilmore — Restaurant in Victoria

Not impressed at all. Today I waited for service at the counter for several minutes and did not get served. I was the only customer waiting. Two of the waitresses were busy ? chatting to each other in front of the coffe machine. They had their back to the counter and even after trying to get their attention by calling for service they did not turn around but just busily gossipped on. A third waitress was busy running back and forth behind the counter fixing or looking for something. Certainly not me the customer waiting. I walked out. with two other good bakeries within a 100 m it was easy to get what I needed In one of them (at the Kilmore Bakery) quickly and with a friendly smile. 26-4-2019, stopped for lunch here, never again. Coffee not hot, eclair ok, BUT ordered Toasted Focaccia for the 2 of us. staff eventually bought out 2 Toasted sandwiches and reckoned we had ordered that - docket did not agree with what we were charged they then went away presumably to get the Focaccias. but no, we were left sitting there. On inquiring we were told that our TOASTED SANDWICHES WERE WAITING FOR US.. Wrong again, they the proceeded to make up 2 Foccaccia's then wanted to know if we wanted them toasted??????? We asked to have them wrapped and we left with 2 untoasted Focaccias to eat on our way, we had wasted 2 hours - I ended up throwing 1/2 mine out and getting something else else wear....

On two ocassions now I have visited and on both the cakes were stale. Today I ordered a Danish $7.50 with my coffee. Was rock hard to the point I could not cut it. Returned it and was told it was because it was refrigerated. This was not the case, it was stale. I don't appreciate being lied to and previous passion was same issue. Fortunately, other bakeries in town. Please don't treat customers as idiots, we know if something is stale and several days old . Very poor practice to charge 7.50...
