Fresh Air Cafe & Accommodation — Restaurant in Victoria

We had breakfast at Fresh Air Cafe this morning and while food and everything else in the cafe was excellent it was the kindest gesture I have ever experienced that made this place so memorable. There were a number of items on display for sale at discounted prices and we picked up a couple of candles that were 75% off. But when my wife spotted a quaint little bowl in the shape of a chicken I insisted she really didn't need another bowl and we made our way out. Before I got to the door the owner ran over and said "here, a gift for your wife" and handed me the bowl. This was a heart felt gesture and we were both truly touched by her kindness. May she be ever blessed for this rare warm kindness in todays selfish...

I originally was not overly taken back by the place or the menu. I could not have been more wrong. Quite easily the best bang for your buck anywhere in the state.

Their food is outstanding. Like a home cooked meal. My wife had the lasagna, I had the nachos. The in-laws had a pie and sausage roll. All of them were excellent. All of them were really well priced.

The two girls in the front house were superstars. It was a short wait for the food and everyone was very nice and very accommodating. I highly recommend it if you're passing through Omeo. For that matter I'd make a...

We were attracted to the Fresh Air Cafe given its impressive front garden, plus its cafe and gift shop offers.

After a quick visit to check GF menu inclusions, we returned a day later and enjoyed a warm chicken salad for lunch. The food was great and the price very reasonable.
