Joey's Place — Restaurant in Victoria

Alex and Liz Orr if you didn’t buy anything from Joeys place as stated in your review, how can you say the food is old and hasn’t been freshly bought rolls and bread for sale for weeks, clearly you do not buy food from Joeys Place or you would know all food is bought fresh every day the rolls and bread are the freshest I’ve ever had all the food at joeys place is absolutely yummy, the amount of salad rolls sold daily speaks volumes for how fresh they are, all the staff wear gloves whenever they handle food you only need to look around to clearly see the boxes of gloves situated around the shop, i go to plenty of cafes where my food is handled by people not wearing gloves at all Joeys Place is clean and the staff are always friendly, I was sitting in my car eating my beautiful fresh salad roll today, when I heard a group of school boys loitering out the front of the cafe sitting on the tables and chairs which are for cafe customers, the owner came out and politely asked the boys to move on, the boys became very disrespectful towards the lady and yelled out they would put up a bad review so clearly one of those boys is yours and your review has been made out of...

Quiet a variety of different foods to choose from with some vegetarian options. Everything from Routley's pies and pasties, sandwiches, wraps, salad rolls, three varieties of chips and, during winter months, a Tuesday roast. Plenty of parking but a bit hectic around 3:30 when school's out. Staff are great and the assistance offered when a family member had bit of a medical problem was amazing. Amazing chicken & salad sandwiches! They roast the chicken themselves and very obviously put a lot of effort into the dicing process. Every single piece was perfect... straight chicken breast with no gristle or fat or skin. The avocado was also strsight up avocado (wasn't diluted with mayo). Incredible quality and really lovely friendly people too. Didn't realise how difficult it is to find a place with excellent quality sandwich ingredients till I visited this lovely little shop.
