This has to be one of the most frustrating fast-food experiences Iโve ever had. I went to McDonaldโs South Shepparton and very clearly asked for no pickles on my burger. Not only did my burger arrive full of pickles, it wasnโt even the burger I ordered in the first place. I double-checked my receipt to make sure I hadnโt made a mistake โ the order on the screen was correct, the food in the bag was not.
Itโs such a simple request to get right. You donโt need special training to leave pickles off a burger or to hand someone the correct order. Yet somehow, both of those basic things were wrong. By the time I noticed, I was already away from the store, so I couldnโt even get it fixed without turning around and wasting more time.
This isnโt just a one-off slip-up either. Itโs become increasingly common at this location for orders to be wrong, cold, or missing items. There doesnโt seem to be any urgency, attention to detail, or care about what customers are paying for. When you pay for food you canโt eat because instructions arenโt followed, it stops being an occasional mistake and starts feeling like a lack of standards.
If management here actually wants people to keep coming back, they need to address this. Double-check the orders. Train the staff properly. Take some pride in whatโs being handed to customers. Otherwise, people like me โ who used to come regularly โ will just stop coming altogether. Right now, Iโm seriously considering never coming back to this...
ย ย ย Read moreI wish to express my disappointment and concerns. At 8:35 pm on Sunday evening I visited the store. Order number 186ย Myself and my daughter needed something sweet after dinner, as not much is open on Sunday night in Shepparton.
Large Fries Medium Fries Small latte with almond milk A serve of the dognuts tinny ones Banana and caramel pie And a large strawberry Sunday
I would think that is would be a simple order to do.
With out exaggerated stretch I did not receive my order for 17 minutes. When I did get the order in parts my Sunday had melted, chips where both cold, the pie was cold the coffee had not even been made. I return to the service counter and asked for fresh hot chips.ย I received 1 medium hot chips after and the large chips where from the chips that where pre packed and had been sitting from the previous set so they where still cold. My coffee was now ready BTW but it was 3/4 full. I return to the service counter and asked why I still had cold chips. I left them with the staff and left the store without them. I am not asking for a free meal this is not my intention. However next time I return I would hope that the staff get their...

It was one of those evenings where you just wanted a little something sweet. I walked into McD not knowing exactly what I wanted, and saw the promo sign flashing: Fancy a sweet treat? Yes, I did. I ordered the Choco Custard Pie McFlurry โ soft chocolate ice cream swirled with crispy chunks of pie pastry that had a surprisingly caramelised edge. There was a mix of warm pie bits and the cold McFlurry, giving that hot-meets-cold kind of magic. The texture was interesting โ crunchy on top, creamy underneath, and just sweet enough to hit the craving.
