Magnificent lake, lots of ducks and other birds, well constructed walkway over the water, complete with many benches to stop and absorb as well as eating areas under pleasant structures!
Wonderful cafe/restaurant with wide glass view of the lake, genuinely welcoming waiters/ waitresses that seem to all live working there. Nice range of tasteful snacks, drinks and meals that provide very clever variety to the typical menu.
Huge art studio with great music that covers most genres which is jointly wired to play in the information centre downstairs.
The Information Centre carefully constructed open (not crammed) displays downstairs is put together with passion & the two ladies staffing today, obviously have that passion.
They are to me a credit beyond the standard employee. The enjoyment after receiving the trip desires that you give, and their willingness to create for you, experiences to live, of district localities they pass on their vast knowledge of places to see, designed to fit your itinerary.
