Had my father in law memorial service at Creswick Town hall and asked the local community page for catering assistance and Chantel owner of Odessa at Leaverās Hotel came to the rescue. (Directly opposite the Town hall) The food Scones, sausage rolls, cakes, slices, vegetable spring tolls, pies and so much more (all home made and fresh) absolutely scrumptious and we were made to feel so welcome. The barman Cam said the venue is the oldest hotel est. 1852 and includes accommodation out the back - the old brothel. The history!! We were just so surprised on the quality, effort and detail Chantel and her staff put in to top off what was a lovely service. (Taking pictures and sending them to us) Easy going and comfortable people. Iām not from the area but looking forward to coming back to watch a live band play in this cosy venue with some dinner. Highly recommended. Thanks for everything you did for us at such...

There is a nice bakery just down the road for an early start the next morning.
To top it all off, there is a safe place to store your...

Warm fire going, beautiful dark wood throughout, quirky art work and furniture and a stage for live music acts. Found Cameron to be a wealth of local sightseeing knowledge and enjoyed the photos he shared of the venue from its previous fish n chip shop state. (UNBELIEVABLE transformation!)
Can't wait to go back in warmer weather to spend some time out back as well.
