Not just a brewery - this place also has great food! From the moment we walked in we encountered great, friendly service from all the staff here. They definitely like what they do and it shows. After checking out the menu we decided to stick to starters and ordered the special of Garlic Bread then Mushroom Arancini Balls with garlic aioli, Salt and Pepper Calamari with lime aioli and the Crispy Southern Fried Chicken Tenders with sweet chilli aioli. All were delicious and left us wanting more (and the different aiolis were perfectly paired!). We sat inside under the heaters but there is also tables set up outside which I’m sure would be filled during Summer! So even though Heathcote is known for its wines I would definitely suggest you stop by here for some great food if you’re travelling through!

An absolute must. DON’T DRIVE PAST! Wish this was my local. Great rustic industrial vibe, DOG & KID friendly outside area undercover. Excellent beers, and the food was delicious. I had the vegan version of the tacos which were served with home made everything, pickled onions, zesty pesto and a curried chickpea filling. The boys had a vegan burger and a chicken burger and the cauliflower and hazelnut salad just amazing. Now for the drinks. Wow, what a fantastic selection of award winning brews and the Berried Treasure Sour was off the charts good! Service so so friendly and Owner Peter was more than happy to chat about his beers!

We visited in January and returned again the next night because it was just so good. The beers were fantastic, the staff so incredibly friendly, and the GOAT BURGER. Don’t even get me started! So juicy and flavoursome! We’ve visited quite a number of breweries/burger places since then and nothing even slightly compares to the goat burger. In fact, we’ve just eaten a very disappointing burger at another famous Victorian brewery and are reminiscing about our time at Palling Bros. We might need to make a detour on the the way back home! 🤤

I have camped for many years and getting to the local areas pubs/breweries and wineries is a staple of my trips. This experience has taken the cake for the rudest experience I have ever had. My partner and I went to enter through the main doors, with our dog and were blasted by the wait staff "no dogs allowed in here". Completely fair enough if that's the rules, it's a not the message it's the delivery that was awful. (We had been to 4 pubs/breakers in the last two days and all of which we bought our small Pomeranian in without issue) so you could see the assumption it may be okay, or at a minimum some decency on how you spoke to us. We politely obliged and moved outside to find a seat to have the same woman in front of numerous patrons berate us "guys, there is no food" clapping hands saying "saying no, no" it's 2:30 and a brewery it doesn't take a rocket scientist to work out we were there for a beer. We left immediatelyxWe both spent many years in customer facing roles and can attest and sympathise with the stresses and frustrations that brew and often capitulate....again I've never been that rude. Reality is 1 bad egg soured an experience. Pull your head out and don't ever talk to...

Really wanted to like this place, but it was a complete shambles. They were very disorganised, and the layout of the bar and kitchen is very poorly thought out.

Less than half the tables had people, but it took well over an hour from ordering to get our food. There were plenty of staff, but they didn't seem to do very much. When I asked the waitress after about 40mins waiting, the response I got was "gunna be at least 20, nuthin' I can do, mate". I said "excuse me" (very politely) to a different waitress nearly 30mins after that and was met with a blunt "No" and a 'stop hand' in my face as she continued walking past me. I have never in my life experienced such rude service.

Once we finally received our food, it was OK. Good burger, average 'german' hotdog (was a boiled weiner, like a footy sausage), kids fish and chips was very disappointing. Beers were OK, but nothing interesting. The place has great potential but really lets itself down with very disorganised, amatuer,...

There's a old saying, "If" your happy tell others, "if not", tell them, they are very approachable plp and would be more than happy to discuss any issues you may have. Just putting ➖comments with out explanation serves no purpose to anyone. Constructive criticism is allways welcome. Lets get back to how we use to communicate with one another and have conversations in working to solutions. I either eat and or have a drink few nights a week ,i havn't had a non satisfactory meal or drink yet. !! Lets back this awsome business and its owners and staff as this is exactly what heathcote needs its got great atmosphere to have meals & drink or 2 😎 & socialise with friends old and new .Paillings also boasts Great bands ,groups and verious other entrainment for all ages and from a large diverse talent pool, young & old musicians playing regularly. Enjoy the welcoming atmosphere. Cheers the JOKER 🃏....
