Heathcote Country Kitchen — Restaurant in Victoria

Very nice food at this local eatery. We have had the fish and chips experience, excellent! We have had the burger experience, excellent! We have been coming here for over a year and like every business, they can get really busy and wait times are out of control. Then there are times when you hardly wait for your meal. The staff have always been friendly and respectful to us, so we reciprocate the same. I love that you can get so much from one place. I hadn't been to Heathcote Country Kitchen before because the front of the shop is fairly plain and you tend to overlook it for the other chip shop. Glad I tried them. New owner of a few weeks who is very friendly and takes pride in his cooking. The fish (flake) was a great size, fresh and perfectly cooked. Scallops were fresh and tasty. They weren't small but he threw in an extra one anyway. Keep up the good work - I'll be back for more for sure ...

I thought this place was over priced . I got a chicken suvalaki which was just ok. The tomarto was cut so fine i didnt think i tasted any The bread was smaller not as nice as most wasnt cooked properly and all i got was a mountain load of lettice .
