Best Place for everything Local. Heathcote Show as a great place to find local produces of flavoured teas, cold extracted Honey, Organic Wines, Olive Oils. I got all of these👌🏻 Just Visiting: The place to stop straight after the Visitor Information Centre is the Variety of local cafes and take aways. IGA always has fresh Free Range Cooked Chooks👌 and the bakeries, fresh bread and rolls for a picnic under the old trees around the Oval. Th Old Court House and Local Crafts- wool Hats, Gloves and Scarves, all hand knitted by local Co-op. The visitor Centre gave me all the information I needEd to get around Heathcote and surrounding areas with friends for boating, camping and fishing. The information centre staff are experts on the area and are always happy to talk about some of the most secret of places to the top must see places to visit. Night markets and festivals. If your coming to Heathcote or just passing through its definitely worth the quick stop. Please enjoy this amazing town so close to Melbourne like I did. beauriful town and all it has to offer. Heathcote, steeped in Australian History with many a story to be told, it might surprise you just how old the original mining town was. Old Historical Biulding being completely restored and steaped in early settlement history.

Pop by the information centre for the latest info on everything in Heathcote. Kim who was on duty was very informative and provided plenty of info. Do check this place out for the latest lunches served at various vineyards and things happening in the town. A must visit if you are in Heathcote.

Such friendly, engaging guides, very happy to chat and explain the local attractions. Sadly, there were no wine maps! Not their fault but dissappointing none the less for a wine district.

Janet and the fabulous team of volunteers at the Heathcote Post office are an amazing asset to our winery town and community. As a business owner I find their depth of local knowledge outstanding and my customers always remark how great their details are that they provide to get them around the region, no matter whether they are looking for cellar doors, places to walk, things to do or how to get there. Thank you Heathcote Information Centre for all that you do for our special internationally known central...

My husband and I are still fairly new residents to Heathcote having relocated here from Epping a little over a year ago. What a wonderfully welcoming and diverse community with a great variety of activities available. All of our recent visitors concur with our assessment and in addition have been most effusive in their praise of the staff at the Heathcote Visitor Information Centre who are always informative, helpful and friendly. What a...
