I always try to find some good in any business understanding that every body has a bad day; however, this was a business whereby I felt that this poor service was the norm.
Upon arrival I was asked to wait while the owner ask me to wait while he continued restocking the fridge. That in it self does not scream the customer comes first however I was happy to overlook it.
When finally served, the man was rude. This store offered no value for money.
Having spent around $35 on chips, five dim sims, two tubes of tomato sauce and one tub of gravy was expensive compared to other fish and chip stores. To receive just enough food for two people was unexpected.
When attempting to purchase a 1.5 liter drink, the owner refused to allow me to purchase the item citing the fees he would occure if he put $5.50 through EFT. Instead after already having spent $35 on food he told me to purchase a drink next door as they may not mind the fees. As I walk out, he attempted to justify his decision by adding that if I had purchased a family pack at over $55 he may have reconsidered.
I would not recommend this place at all, Apart from the lack of service, the food itself was over cooked and the gravy was lumpy.

They have so many options and such variety. You can tell they care about the quality and try very hard for consistency. The shop is always clean and orders packed and presented nicely. Everyone is always busy and hard at work. It does cost more than other fish n chips shops but so far I've found it worth it. I've done both pick up and delivery options. One time a gravy was forgotten, it was disappointing as was the main reason we decided to order lol. That's how good it is. But it's ok, the menu log guy did his job and they dont get paid alot, I appreciated him delivering it and the rest of the order was great. When arrived food was squashed by complimentary coke. Told him I would be throwing the food in bin, as the bitter taste he left in my mouth would reflect on the food, said he doesn't care, not my business. I did you a favour delivering this.
