Syrian Brothers Restaurant — Restaurant in Victoria

We walked from the main CBD of Shepparton to try out this restaurant and it was worth the trek! On walking in, I was met with a large tray of knafeh which almost had me in years of joy. The lovely young man behind the counter saw my amazement and gave both me and my other human a piece each to sample as we decided what to order. Holy Mother of Jupiter!!!!! I'm fairly sure the buttery, creamy, crunchy goodness now had me crying actual tears of joy. It was the best knafeh I've ever eaten and I'm from Granville! We tried the chicken and rice, the Mana'eesh and the humus with meat. My 2 year old cleaned his plate it was all so good! After walking into an empty restaurant, I was so happy to see the place get busier as a diverse range of people streamed in. I particularly enjoyed the curious middle-aged white women trying Middle Eastern food for the first time and exclaiming how delicious it was while promising to return. I recently dined at a wonderful Syrian restaurant in Shepparton, and I can't recommend it highly enough. We ordered a platter with rice, and the dish was simply superb. The flavors were rich and authentic, perfectly balanced, and the portion size was generous enough to comfortably feed four to five people. Beautiful delicious food and incredible customer service. Nice restaurant environment.

The only issue we had was there was some spelling mistakes on the menu and no photos so we did not really know what we were ordering.

Because of this we almost walked out without ordering but the employee gave us a free sample of the chicken tenders and described some of the menu items for us. His amazing service made us stay for lunch and we’re glad we did.
