Literally got food poisoning from their chicken lasagne.

The lasagne was luke warm and stale on the edges, both me and my friend who had the chicken lasagne ended up having (bad) diarrhoea in their restaurant about 45 minutes after eating the food. I generally don't post reviews, let alone bad reviews, but I can't let this one slide.

When we politely explained the situation and asked for a refund, we were confronted with bad attitude from one of the waitresses who said: "we made the lasagne YESTERDAY, you CAN'T get food poisoning that quickly (i.e. because we had just eaten the lasagne?!)". I literally just googled that symptoms for staph food poisoning can develop half hour after eating bad food.

Was quite stunned at how confrontational the lady was, it's not everyday your customers complain about getting diarrhoea inside your shop!! Refund or no refund, that wasn't the issue, the issue was the attitude and that they INSISTED the food was okay, so I'm assuming they continued to serve the...

We had lunch here very nice place, everything was clean and tidy. We sat outside in their rear dining area surrounded by an eclectic collection of old goods and bric-a-brac. The sun was shining and overall it was a great space to be in. The food was pretty good also, only comment I can make was that the avocado toast meal was a bit pricey for the portion size i received. I have hard larger portions at many places for the same dish and priced accordingly. Will this stop future visits? Probably not, I just wanted to review this business as honestly as I do with all my reviews. Staff were very friendly, very busy little place and obviously one of favourites for locals and others. Recommend this place for sure to others because my overall dining...

After a morning running around a local farm a good substantial lunch was in order. A quick drive around the metropolis of Lancefield showed The Aspy to be a likely candidate. And so it turned out to be, for a nice relaxing, very late lunch. There was a small but diverse menu and the pie I chose had obviously been freshly baked in-house. It was a vegan asparagus and mushroom pie, accompanied by fresh salad, and was delicious:) My friend's pie was so delicious he got a second! Service was speedy and friendly. So if you are in Lancefield or just passing through I would recommend a...

Aspy was an “on the journey” find lunch stop. We arrived about a 1/2 hour before closing and they were fine with us having a late lunch. I had a beef pie with salad and relish, along with a coffee. The pie crust was a bit overly crisp, but once inside, had great flavours. The coffee took a while to arrive but was worth the wait.

Please display prices for the food you have ready made and on display. Most customers would not feel it's reasonable buy a pie and can of Coke for $19. Also not displaying or telling your customers what the total is and just pointing to where to tap your EFTPOS card feels a little deceptive and creates a negative experience.

Ordered 2 take away coffees (the smallest size) and 2 babycinos. Cost over $20, when I asked how much the babycinos where after paying they said $4. Which I think to be a ridiculous price for something so small. Also they gave me the wrong coffee so had to go back and get it remade which took over 5 minutes.
