We've been regular patron to the hotel over the past few years, especially there Parma night on Tuesdays, we were shocked with what was presented before us at our table, it certainly wasn't a chicken thick Parma breast it was sliced down to a thin slice 1/3 Rd of chicken( thin steak) , from the normal parmas we've had there, I tried to attach the pic of that Parma and a prior one we've had, unfortunately it won't allow me to attach. We felt that management needed to see what was on our plate, and for the chef to be advised, we were told that they had a new supplier , more then likely they we're cutting costs, less on plate with the same charge. I politely asked for a refund, which they did not give ,we had taken just one bite from it, management informed us that there had to be a reason for a refund , I said that, that was the reason, as when I took a bite of the Parma it was like chewing cupboard, taistless,!! management ashored me that they were going to talk to another manager & follow up with a solution on the next day to discuss this issue, unfortunately that has not happened. We're in hospitality ourselves, and understand how important customer service is & the quality!!! delivered each time. We've always loved there original parmas, prior to the poor quality of Parma presented on that evening....
Read moreWhilst chef prepared several good dishes thats all that be said in a positive. We were booked for 7.30 it took till 8.15 for us to make the head of the que and order. Another 1hour 40 mins went by before the 1st meal served. 1 plate out of 10 . But wait where are the entries. 20mins the next 2 plates arrived only still no entries and then the rest including the entries were the last 3 plates to arrive. Despite assurances they would here in a minute .that minute was ment to be some 9minutes before first main arrived. So busy night yes. Lots of bookings yes happy manager yes, but did he take note that his ' head chef ' who judging buy google reviews has never had the capacity to work efficiently and plate quickly. Perhaps lack of support staff in kitchen, well yes. If management is so poor at providing the right mix of staff to facilitate large numbers of patrons then it is little wonder the table service manager did not have the people skills to actually entice diners in the belief they cared for the diners and the expirence they would recieve. 1hour and 40 is not as we were bullied to believe an acceptable time to wait. I ordered an Aussie Palmer it was raw chicken (Photo attached) my wife’s meal had a hair on it, my father in laws meal came out when everyone had almost finished there meal and my grandmother and mother had freezing cold food like it just been sitting there forever. The service was a disgrace I would not even give this place a one star rating. The manger is very rude, after a total of 5 mistakes didn’t want to be spoken to with abit of attitude (at this point we were starving and fed up) thought by offering to heat the food up in microwave would be better then offering a new meal, then she said I can give you a refund but who wants to a refund we just wanted to be able to eat a meal that had no hair in it and was hot.
