"Upon arriving at the restaurant, we ordered a single dish of pancakes. However, to our dismay, the waitress brought us a single miniature pancake instead. Upon relaying our confusion to the waitress, she brought us another miniature pancake, showing a clear lack of understanding of our request. Not only were the portions inadequate for the steep $14 price point, but the pancake was also bland and lacked flavor. I cannot recommend this restaurant on account of both the staff's lack of common sense and the substandard quality of their dishes."

Edit: Hello, thank you for responding to my google review. I would like to clarify some facts. Firstly, there is no "language barrier" as I spoke to your staff in plain english. Secondly, when we have complained that the portions are too little, you gave us another single piece of pancake that is about the size of a small palm. It doesn't make a difference to the fact that I'm paying $14 for this, I'm not getting the appropriate portions that my money is worth. Thirdly, you did not charge it for half price, we still paid $14 for that. I find it ridiculous that you would pay $14 for that 2 tiny pieces of pancake, especially since we saw another customer in the restaurant having a much larger portion. I do not know whether there was a miscommunication between your staff and the kitchen, or this was done deliberately as a sign of disrespect to the customer. My family and I had the steak sandwich, the fish of the day (flathead), the lemon pepper squid, and the seafood marinara. We were all thoroughly disappointed with the food.

The steak in the steak sandwich was underseasoned and tasted quite bland, and I imagine due to their overzealous efforts put into adding grill marks, some parts of the steak were very burnt leading to a distinctive burnt taste, and the rest of the steak sandwich was also somewhat bland. However, the chips were very nice.

The fish of the day which at the time was the flathead was extremely disappointing. We imagined that the fish would be relatively fresh, but instead the fish was very dry and tasted as if it was defrosted.

The lemon pepper squid was cooked very nicely and had a nice texture. However, this was ruined by the uneven seasoning. Some parts were seasoned nicely, while other parts had too much salt.

The seafood marinara was also a disappointment. While the flavour itself was fine, all the seafood in it was overcooked and didn't taste very nice as a result.

After waiting a decent amount of time after ordering our food, all our food came out at once, which I definitely do appreciate. However, it's very unpleasant when some of the food is piping hot, while others are barely lukewarm, or even a little cold.

After a 40 minute wait when the store was quite quiet, I am displeased to say that the experience was worth neither the time...

LEFT IN THE DARK- Very disappointed.

We arrived for dinner and were sat at our table with a food menu, it then proceeded to take another 15 minutes before we had to physically get up and flag down a waiter for some sort of table service eg table water, drinks menu and taking our order. Meanwhile during this time I visually observed 4 other table had received service. This theme continued for the rest of the night.

We when then given flat soft drinks as a mixer which was from a previously opened bottle, the staff were almost somewhat obnoxious when we sent the drinks back to be re poured again.

I thought it would be common practice to have one or two servers for the entire time you're at the restaurant, but obviously not, we were handballed around multiple times and by doing this the lack of communication between each waiter showed significantly.

While that's hopefully some constructive feedback on the absolutely poor quality of the table service, I don't even want to start on the food...not only taking 50 minutes to come the table , most of the meals were luke warm, dry and had minimal taste, furthermore not once throughout the evening were we asked how our meal or drinks were going even though a couple of meals were only half eaten...
