This is a great all around park. The playground is a fairly basic setup, with the exception of a flying fox/zip line. There are amenities on site and a dual BBQ hotplate and undercover area with benches/tables.
Right next door to the small boat ramp, launching a boat or kayak to travel up the backwater or down the Mitchell River is easy.
Keep an eye on this place for the Howitt Park Market (they have a Facebook page for details and dates) as it has a great variety of local produce, craft and entertainment.
