The smallest pizzas I've ever eaten for $22 and $26. The pizza is so tiny that we left from there still hungry. It claims to be Italian style thin crust but tastes more like a tortilla and is as filling as you'd expect from a tortilla pizza. One pizza per person is not enough unless you're just looking for a snack.
They were all out of feta so we asked if they could replace it with something else in the pizza and they refused. In the extras menu feta was the most expensive extra at $5. The pizza comes with feta and they had run out so we didn't think it was unreasonable to ask for some other topping instead, especially since the pizza was $26 and tiny.
The ambience is nice with indoor and outdoor seating and a bar. But be prepared if it's a cool night. The deck doors were left open and we were seated close to them.
Edit: To clarify we got the Sophia with the sausage which was $26 IIRC and we requested that they substitute the unavailable feta with ANY other ingredient to which they clearly refused, multiple times. Hardly a miscommunication, in fact they were...
Read moreWhere do I start? Got our pizza order mixed up. My husband is a celiac and he would have been really sick if he'd eaten the wrong pizza. Thank goodness I found out before they were made. I didn't get the extra ingredients I paid for. No prices on the drinks menu. They'd been scrubbed off. One bottle of wine I found out was $50 and even though I didn't order it, you'd really want to know something like that in advance. No coffee on the premises. I rang and booked a few days in advance to be told we only got a table because they'd had a cancellation. But when we arrived only 2 other tables were occupied. After 30 minutes we were the only ones there. Front of house staff were lovely though and we were asked for vaccination status which was reassuring. I think they need to lift their game. It's a shame because Loch is the cutest of towns in Gippsland. It's Gippsland's version of Olinda or Sassafras with lots of visitors from Melbourne. Maybe we got it on a bad day but not in a hurry to...
Read moreAs we walked in there was no one to tell us where to sit so we sat at the only table available, it normally sat 6 people (we were 2 people) and the lady working very rudely told us to get up and then brought us to a table in the back. Once seated an employee was leaning on my wife’s chair and chatting very loudly over our heads to the table next to us. We then moved to a table outside right away. Food came out and it was ok.
Not good not bad just pizza. It’s really too bad that one of the only food places in this small town gave us such a bad experience.
I would give zero...
