Don’t go here if you are over 35 or have kids.

Within 5 minutes of being there my 5Yo son found an odd spoon on the ground. Quick Google search, Cocain spoon.

Booked this place in advance for my birthday. (Noted it was my birthday on the booking) I had been looking forward to going here for about 6 months, had heard good things. Upon arrival we were seated in a bloody foyer (they referred to it as the foyer) which was essentially an entry point for everyone coming and going with two slamming doors constantly slamming. A security light that you had to wave your arms to activate in order to see the menus and chairs that didn’t match the table height.

Meals were slow, really slow. When they did come out they mucked up one of them which had requested a removal of sauce from the Parma. Their remedy was to scrape it off and send it back out. When we pointed this out to the manager she made a lame excuse of “that was meant for another table” which made no sense.

My wife’s pear whiteloaf salad was a mess, just drowned in dressing, she ate about half and couldn’t stomach the rest.

If you are young and just wanna drink n party and have zero expectations beyond that definitely check...

I am on a holiday from Sydney and came to the Wooli Tavern with my family late on Sunday and am appalled with the service we were given. We came close to the kitchen closing which we understand can be frustrating however the server checked with the kitchen and they approved of us making an order regardless of the time. Unfortunately I have Severe anaphylactic allergies and need to ask questions about the food and the server when asked what was on a certain dish she did not go check with the kitchen, a staff member next to her even offered to ask the kitchen and she refused and took it upon herself to answer, any person with allergies finds this uncomfortable when trying to eat out. Her overall attitude towards myself, my husband and mother was rude and not welcoming this ultimately made the whole experience unpleasant she was very short with her answers and would sigh when asked a question. When served our food I got the same as my husband but without dairy on my food and the server did not know which food was mine and which was my husbands and said both were without dairy after asking her to check turns out it was not the case. We will...

The Venue: was alive with the vibe of the trendiest place to be on the island. ( other than the Westenport ) Great car parking , live music from the 80s , where it should probbly stay ! tv with live sports on offer. Shames there no tab Recently refurbished, the newest pub on the block with a cosy aesthetic that has Indoor and outdoor seating. The Manager Cat is a wonderful host and catered to all of our needs effortlessly, she was knowledgeable on specials and was very welcoming. We were seated quickly on a window table with a great view

After a long wait !

The Food: Prawn twisters are a delightful light starter, crunchy and soft. Shame they weren’t home made

Winter warmer Lamb Shank Curry is an absolute win, a unique twist on a lamb and sweet potato red curry but could have been better execution 6.6/10 not bad for first year apprentice

For dessert we engulfed the apple crumble and ice cream which was a great finish.

One hour and still waiting for a beef burger....... avoid this place. Limited overpriced menu. Update....Just gone one hour and this pathetic excuse for a burger ($25 plus surcharge) came out. Supposed to be Angus.....but never seen Angus as white meat. Litteraly taste the breadcrumbs. Next to it...my 12 year old boys hand, basically the size of a slider.....pathetic and to top it off, the waitress just turned around and said, take it up with the manager if you don't like it. There is one thing to be stingy with food....but this place takes the cake in ripping people off!!!

Woolie Tavern on Phillip Island is a popular spot with locals and perfect for a casual meal. We dined outside as the weather was too good to miss. We had the pumpkin, tomato based gnocchi which was quite intriguing and unusual. The porterhouse steak special was deliciously cooked and came out as a scotch fillet, which was an upgraded cut in my eyes. The kingfish entree was absolutely outstanding, and the bar staff were so welcoming and attentive. The meals were served promptly and with a smile. All in all, Woolie Tavern provided a very pleasant dining experience.
