Coffee Guru Vincentia — Restaurant in Vincentia

After ordering at 9am on Fathers day. My husband and I received our coffee's after 20 mins of ordering. Our coffee's were great! Unfortunately we ended up waiting 45mins for my husbands big breakfast and myself and kids had eggs benny and two kids waffles. We waited a whole hour at 10am until we received my eggs benny and kids waffles. I did see people who ordered 30mins after myself receive their eggs benny before me. I did see a young man look very worried after noticing our table hadn't received our food before others. I did ask when he brought us the food to speak with a manager. As waiting 1 hr was alittle ridiculous. My food once received wasn't very warm at all. I spoke to the owner and he's was very dismissive and only gave us a $20 refund, after I refused his offer of more coffee. Our entire order was almost $100. Went in for a Fathers day breakfast with my husband and kids today and ordered food and drinks, the staff were absolutely lovely, working hard to get people their orders even though it was so busy and they were completely flat out

The food and drinks were absolutely delicious, props to the team that works here! Even the kids ate and drank everything which is a rare sight 😅🤣

I did notice some other customers upset with the wait times that weren't actually long at all for a breakfast service period on Fathers day, it seemed quite silly considering how busy it was and it should be common sense that wait times will be a little longer than usual on holidays! Nice Coffee and OK breakfast. Had the pancakes, these seemed like slightly heated store bought pancakes. The reason for the low star rating is from my experience. Sat at one of the wooden tables. As soon as I sat down I had a 3cm piece of wood lodged into my leg. The under surface edge of the table was not smooth, I understand this was an accident, but when I mentioned this to the woman cleaning the table she did not seem bothered and didn't offer an apology.
