We were visiting the south coast and thought we would give this place a try after a long day.

While the counter staff were good, the lady at the front who seemed to be the front of house or manager was very rude. We were looking at the take away menu when we were rudely asked to move to the side to make way for other customers, although we were not blocking anything or anyone.

We also wanted to get fried rice without egg as we cant have egg. This is the first restaurant where we have been told we can't have fried rice without egg as it is "too difficult to remove the egg". So we assume that other restaurants who have catered to our requests before have gone above and beyond to cater to this very "difficult" request or this restaurant has the fried rice already pre-mixed with eggs, hence the difficulty removing it? We thought it was always made fresh.

Despite the above, we ordered some other food items that didnt have eggs and were hoping that the food would atleast be good, unlike the service.

We were disappointed that the food was also average. We would not visit again or recommend...

Please stay away if you don't want to drive home to have spoiled experience! This restaurant is damaging perception of Thai food or other Thai restaurants.

Unfortunately I have chosen this place due to positive ratings.

Firstly place is advertising on Google dine in when it is take away only.

Secondly it is not that cheap paying $20 for Thai beef salad and $3.5 for a rice to have it as take away.

Lastly food even it will cost half of what I have payed for is terrible: Thai beef salad - soggy vegetables, cheap beef meat softened by baking soda so you feel like chewing prawns and all of that is drowning in massive amount of dressing like I have ordered soup. If you ever tried this dish or googled it, definately it looks and tastes completely different to what I have got. Crispy pork belly - there is more fat than meat, vegies are undercooked and sauce is tasteless, watery with a lot of oil but plenty of chilly. Rice is dry and taste it was...

People who gave five stars you really need to go to Newtown try some real stuff. Waited for 25 mins for our main while the rest of the restaurant seems all got their food served. Oh btw, we are the first customer to sit down. Wonder. Even take away food is ahead of us. Three mains we ordered: 1.pad Thai with chicken - way too sweet, wonder did they pour syrup into the food? 2. Nho tha?? Something like a seafood wrap which is on chef’s 2nd recommendation. The dish is $24 - with three prawns, 4 calamari rings, 2 mussels, and some curry sauce. 3. Beef curry - huge plate with 5 pcs of beef. Btw, coconut rice is coconut syrup with rice. It’s just regular steamed rice. The staff is nice but sent the wrong dish twice. We are only here for jervis bay so I’ll never come again for sure but locals - please spend you good money...

The closest Thai restaurant from my accommodation, we came with a dog early in the afternoon and we're accomdated to seat outdoor, it was cold afternoon and the staff turned on the heater and handled us a blanket.since it's early in the afternoon and we're pretty much the first customer we got our food quick nice and hot. great Thai flavours present in the food, just too sweet for my liking. But we cleaned the plates empty. I guess that's how people it here.

The portions here are incredibly generous! For most Asian diners, I'd recommend sharing a main dish between two people. While the food is tasty, the servings were too much for me, and I ended up leaving quite a bit behind. The Tom Yum Kung isn't particularly spicy but offers a comforting warmth, especially in this weather. There's no additional service charge or tax, but note that a 1% fee applies for credit card payments.
