Today I went to get my usual coffee as I do, as I went to pay with a visa gift card it didnât work, which that was fine and I paid with my card instead. But the girl with the long blonde ponytail thought it was so funny and decided it was a great idea to make fun of me with another coworker, who else thought it was funny. Honestly it was really immature and disrespectful. I definitely wonât be back after this isnât the first time this girl has been rude and very Blunt. As a hospitality sales assistant myself I would never shame a customer that way ever in my life nor have terrible customer service. I am honestly very disappointed as I have been a loyal customer since this cafe opened but wonât be spending my money here anymore. I would definitely recommend retraining your junior staff with better manners. Also coffee wasnât that great either after waiting 15mins, after she decided to make someone else a coffee that hadnât even came up to pay for it.
By the looks of your reviews with the horrible rude junior staff I would definitely be following up with your team quite regularly as this seems to be a regular occurrence. When I go there, the place is never very clean, tables dirty a lot of times, but WORST, this morning I stood in-front of till to order, the 2 girls chatting away behind the coffee machine. The one girl made eye contact, still not greeting of acknowledge me, just turned around and continue chatting, no urgency in the coffees they making. the young chef came to get something from the display, saw me waiting, still no acknowledgement. I stood there one more minute without ANY one attending to me, just continuing their chat. I turned around, walked out and went to Coffee Guru, where I were acknowledged Immediately by several staff and was served within 5 minutes after I ordered, even though the cafe was packed. I will not waste my money at any place, that cannot train their staff the importance to acknowledge customers, no matter HOW busy with work or chatting. A simple âhi there, wont be a minuteâ would be good...
   Read moreProbably the worst coffee we had in our trip to Jervis bay ! Firstly customer service is terrible without any greetings to customer. The staff on counter is actually wanting to hear my order straight away. Fair enough! Ordered three coffees, but the barista lady was in the phone entire time. The lady on counter called her and the barista lady was still on phone. I saw her coffee making, which was terrible and she didn't have any sanitation. How can someone make a coffee or food industry who doesn't actually wash or santise their hand before handling food or coffee since was away from her station (outside Jamaica blue cafe) touching random spots and taking on the phone! Horrible ! We were tourist here, so I felt like they judge my looks and appearance. That was for sure, stereotypical!
Anyway thank you I needed coffee much more than any problems !
