Central Pizza — Restaurant in Wallan

We have been ordering pizza from this store for more than five years. The quality has been good to very good in the past. We have also given good reviews in the past. Basically, we have never had a bad pizza from here.

So, what happened with our order today was a surprise. Both pizzas were terrible.

The bases on both are dry and rubbery. Both have very thin sauce base. The barbaque base looks, and tastes like tomato, but is so thin, you can't tell..! Neither were really edible. What is more surprising is that we have never had anything like this before from this store previously.

When we rang up to complain.. we were advised if they were remade that they would be the same! So settled for refund.

It is really sad, as we really liked this stores pizza. This may be just a once off, but we will be reluctant to return due to...

Terrible. A couple of weeks ago, I purchased online and waited and waited. After an hour, I realised that I had an email (than had cancelled my order and said to expect a refund in 3-5 days.

I figured it was a glitch so tried again tonight (Saturday). Phoned the order through this time (they don't do EFTPOS for home delivery on the phone or when they deliver - it has to be cash). Ordered and they said it would be an hour. No drama. After 90 minutes, I rang back and they said that it wouldn't be out of the oven for another 20mins and then it would be delivered, so two hours all up. Ridiculous. No apology for their incorrect information or inefficiency. Pick up only, Don't get delivery if you must order from these...

I tried this place last night and have to share that my Wallan Special pizza was absolutely delicious! Also, the pizza was made perfectly, thin and well cooked base, perfectly cooked toppings and the flavour of the sauce reminded me of pizza I had in Italy. Their website could use a little work but we'll definitely be ordering from here again. Keep up the good work, guys. Please don't...
