On the grind — Restaurant in Wallan

Came here for lunch over the weekend and ordered eggs Benedict, tomato and spinach melt and freshly squeezed orange juice. Service was extremely quick and when we got our food we were very disappointed! The eggs for the eggs Benedict were microwaved therefore they were extremely runny and unappealing, the hollandaise sauce you could tell was just store bought and reheated. And the English muffins under neath it weren't even cooked at all.

The melt came on another two pieces of uncooked toast, both pieces piled with what looked like was a bag each of uncooked spinach, the tomato was cold and uncooked and the cheese barely melted over the top of the toasts... I also ordered a bowl of chips seperately and was surprised when my melt came with chips. (wasn't specified in the menu, would've been nice to know as I now had a bowl and a half a plate of chips) The orange juice was a lot better than the food, but yet no ice in the orange juice so was served room temp juice..

I dont mind waiting 15 minutes for food if I know for sure what I'm being served was quality food! I liked that all the workers were ladies though, clearly...

Hey just thought I’d share my opinion on this cafe, Cafe 41 has always been a good cafe and one I have visited a fair amount since I was 13 and now being 22 I think I can leave a fair review with a detailed opinion from it’s now improved owner since the new owner had taken over this cafe has flourished both with its tradies that come in to its couples and older people from the community and even surrounding communities and passing by with the availability of lots of access from car and truck within reasonable distance makes it very convenient for parking for anyone really… then the now staff Stevie and boss lady and Tina all lovely make a very welcoming atmosphere very friendly and sweet people I highly recommend this as a place you go for breaky or lunch can both quick and efficient time in there if you are there for a lunch break in my years of experience and the many cafes I have been to very few have the lovely feeling and vibe of this lovely cafe

I had the big breakfast and my partner had the eggs Benedict.

1 egg was floating in Yolk on both meals the mushrooms weren't cooked they were raw.

I really hate to ask but i got new muchrooms and they tasted great second time round. Then i asked for another bit of toast with a egg on it and waited 5min while eating my breakfast slowly then 4 other customers come in they served all of them their breakfast and i was starting to think they had forgotten about me so when i asked again they told me 5 more minutes and not only I was in-between jobs how long can I sit there what a fuked up breakfast walked out in the end was not one bit enjoyable was very upset to be honest.

I'm a pretty straight up bloke and I dnt complain about food but this was ridiculous walked out still hungry in the end and their sorry didn't cut it.

Should of refunded me every penny of...
