Torng Bai Thai Restaurant — Restaurant in Wallan

I was so excited to have Thai food in wallan. The food was not good. I had food poisoning. On top of that the owner is very rude and her hospitality is the worst. No regards for customers and very bad customer service.

Response to the owner: We actually wanted you to call the police at that moment because you were at wrong. You made us pay the bill of $96 while we were still eating and after the bill was paid you didn’t let us finish the food and asked for plate from which i was still eating and glass of water which which i hadn’t finished drinking. You were in such hurry to kick us out from the place reason being “i have to pay extra to my 4 staff” you didn’t let us finish our food and asked us to leave. The way you speak to your customer i don’t know how you are running a business.

Regarding sending police to my door, do it cause you are the one who’s at fault and justice will be served.

Don’t take bookings for dine in at 8:30 pm if you close at 9 pm and want people to leave the premises whether they’re done eating or not. FYI this is the first time i came to the restaurant and i did vomit after eating your food. Read about food poisoning for your knowledge and to have food safety in your restaurant. Never had this rude hospitality...

1 Star - Severe Reaction, Disappointing Response

We placed a large order totaling $98.80 at Torng Bai Thai Restaurant on January 22, 2021, picking it up around 5:37 pm. Unfortunately, both of us fell ill the same night with symptoms such as dry mouth, thirst, and sleeplessness. Concerned, we researched food poisoning symptoms online, which pointed to Monosodium Glutamate (MSG).

This experience was extremely disappointing and worrying, especially since we have never had such reactions from other local Thai restaurants like Kinn Thai, Corner of Thai, and Thai restaurants in Doreen.

The response from the owner was dismissive and accusatory, suggesting we were trying to harm their business or promote our own. This is not true; we are not in the restaurant business. It's unfair to deflect legitimate customer concerns with accusations.

We urge Torng Bai Thai Restaurant to stop using MSG, which can be harmful to health. Blaming COVID-19 for issues unrelated to health safety is...

If I could give no stars I would. Staff rude as! Was not greeted until I spoke up and said hello? After walking in, was ignored they were behind counter, not even a hello , I asked where my booked tBle was , she said I put you there but sit wherever I seated myself, called 3 times to order ignored, a customer had to get her to actually come n serve me.... she rushed me n was rude... I asked entrees n main to come together it did not To make matters worse, I asked for not sauce didn't get it went n asked same waitres yelled n said l get it ina min! Then, I spoke to kitchen n was mocked by this staff member , she said this girl easnts extra soy! Laughing ! Then kitche lady saidto ask for it with order, I said I did ..told the staff member was rude.. she ignored my complaint never coming back...
