I can tell you I won't be back. I took my wife, kids and my mother to breakfast. They have a great menu though my eggs Benedict couldn't have been any worse $16 then $4.50 with a side of bacon and and that's a fair price I asked for an extra side of bacon for my 3YO daughter to have otherwise she takes mine lol, and the kids only wanted toast.
When I got it there was a small piece of sourdough the size of my phone with two rock hard little poached eggs sitting on two pieces of bacon.
I told the waitress I ordered an extra bacon on the side, she told me I definitely have two servings of bacon. Then I went to the guy that took my order and told him and he just said sorry and that was it so I said I will order some French toast as I was hungry and new I would have to share with my daughter I also wanted to get back to having breakfast with my family. At least 30 minutes after everyone had finished, the French toast still hadn't turned up and everyone was sick of waiting so I just told them I was leaving and not to bother, I wasn't offered a refund or an apology, nothing. Five minutes after we left my wife went back to use the bathroom and was given what they called French toast in a takeaway container with at least three inches of cream covering it and God knows what else on top, it was a $20 runny sloppy horrible looking mess that was thrown in the bin before we got to the car. It looked like they were trying to be smart with the cream because I asked about the side of bacon. At the end of the day I didn't get what I ordered and paid for and they honestly could not have cared less. Being told you definitely have the extra side of bacon that's nowhere to be seen on the side of my plate nore on another plate is pretty obvious I didn't get it. and doing nothing about that or the crappy mess in the take away container just shows how little they value their customers. There are plenty of other places that I'm sure like every other cafe would love the business and the $150 I spent.
Good luck with this place, everyone can make mistakes but you don't deserve my...
Read moreA good choice of meals on the menu and the café was quite busy so we thought we had made a good choice. We both ordered Fish and Chips, sadly it was the worst we have ever had, and we dine out a lot! The fish was so thin it was barely discernable but the batter was thick and very stodgy, all we could taste was flour. I couldn't eat mine. The rest of the meal comprised of a very small amount of tiny fries, a little side salad, (which was the best part of the meal) and a miniscule amount of tartare sauce. Of course we were still hungry so we ordered mud cake each which was so dry and hard we couldn't get our forks through it, though it did taste nice. A disappointing experience for us, we were visiting family in the area after having moved away a few years ago. A Classy Café was always a favourite of ours but after such a dreadful meal we won't dine...
Read moreThe staff were helpful when we raised issues but was a pretty sub par experience. Given it was the first time being there I probably won't make it my regular.
Got most parts of our order wrong by not adapting the order with no onions and a low tide flat white when it was on the docket.
Had to asked for coffee and food to be remade when they didn't adapt the order. I think they just picked out some of the onion and sent it out again with two cherry tomatoes on it because there was still onion in the food. Also brought out the food without the avocado and when we raised it they said they were out and did give a refund but we had to ask for it...
Pricing is confusing and overpriced for what you get e.g. a banana smoothie is less than a iced long black which is $10 which is unjustifiable even if it was...
