Great Indian restaurant. The owner was lovely and seated us straight away and brought cold water. We went for lunch and chose off the lunch menu and the main menu. All the dishes were made fresh to order. When we ordered our tea we were asked when we would like it ( now or at the end of the meal), which we liked as it's always a nice way to finish a meal. We had complimentary popadoms and homemade mint chutney. The garlic naan was fluffy and light, and the roti was huge. The lamb bhuna was succulent and melted in your mouth and fell apart. The gravey was thick, delicious, and full of flavour. The chicken jhalfrezi had lots of veg and large pieces of chicken, which again fell apart and melted in your mouth. The gravey was thick, with lots of flavours coming through. The portion sizes were huge, and there were lots of large pieces of succulent meat. Both came out very hot. We ordered the Mysore dosa off the lunch special menu. This was soft on the middle with a nice crispy edge. The sambar, tomato chutney, and coconut chutney was delicious. The gulab jamuns and pista kulfi for desert were delicious and went nicely with the masala chai. The service was friendly and the food was excellent. Thank you, we will definitely be back soon. Since writing this, we have now been to 2 Spice Guru's for lunch several times. The manager always remembers us and is so friendly. We have tried several new dishes, and every time, they are just as delicious. This is our favourite Indian restaurant. I'm so glad we've found it.

Friday night dining, forget it! Nowhere near the standard we've experienced previously. Top priority was servicing an incredible number of takeaway orders, which were menulog etc. There was a total of 13 diners at four tables. We had to ask for glasses and ice for our wine. Order was taken, extremely overcooked entree arrived in good time. We waited an hour for the mains whilst watching an incredible number of takeaways going out. The mains were overcooked and the sauces far too thick and rich. The biryani rice was lovely. Crockery, cutlery and glasses were spotlessly clean as were the table tops and floors. Won't be venturing back here again given the long wait and food.

After ordering takeaway at 6:22pm and being told the wait would be an hour, we arrived at 7:25pm to pick up our meal. 29 minutes later at 7:54pm our food was finally prepared (see screenshot below, which was taken out to evidence my sheer frustration). Subsequently drove home only to find the kitchen had forgotten the rice! Called to advise them of the missing dish, drove back only to be queried on what I'd ordered. Thankfully I'd kept the receipt! The food is good, but the lack of apology and disregard for the inconvenience mean we won't be going back.

We had heard good things about two Spice Gurus and decided to try it for ourselves. For some 5 p.m.might be early for dinner but it makes for a spacious dining experience. We ordered the goat curry, aloo baingan (eggplant and potato in a tomato and onion masala sauce, a serve of byrani rice and a garlic naan. We were served complimentary poppadums with mint sauce before or orders arrived. The mint sauce is good. I love goat curry and this would be one of the best I've had in Perth. The meat was tender off the bone and we sucked those bones that were full of flavour. This medium hot curry should suit most tastes. We'll try the vindaloo, hot, next time. The aloo baingan was a nice change from our usual aloo gobi. The biryani was super; nice and fluffy and full of flavour. And the naan was very good too. 2 Spice Gurus offer several specials for dining in and take away that are good value especially for big eaters. There is plenty of free parking outside, disabled access is available and credit cards are accepted. Service is very friendly as...

EXCELLENT FOOD, FRIENDLY SERVICE... WE ARE COMING BACK!!!

My family and I (Born of Indian Ancestry) got there on a Sunday Night and were greeted with a cheerful smile. The staff member was extremely helpful and attentive. We normally take a little yoghurt to Indian restaurants because my kids sometimes find the food too spicy. The waitress assured us that she will provide Raita for us at no extra cost. This has rarely happened in the past at other places and it instantly brought a smile to our faces.

We are vegetarians, and the food was ordered and out in matter of 20 minutes. We ordered Samosa, Onion Bhaji, Aloo Saag (Potato) , Malai Kofta (Cottage cheese), Garlic Naans and Rice. My wife ordered a Masala Dosa.

The food was correctly spiced, and each dish had its own unique taste. It was simply the best Indian food I have had in ages. The Masala Dosa is amongst the best I have ever tried.

The cost of the meal was a reasonable $30 per person, which is not breaking the budget.

We loved it all. Thank you...
