Ah, the very rare five star rating, I withhold them only for the greatest (on a personal note it annoys me when five stars are handed out willy-nilly, it devalues the star rating system)
Pretty straightforward why Brushfoot got the high rating. Great coffee and food, the decor is restrained without being bland, it has booths as well as regular tables and outstanding service.
None of those seem difficult, so I must ask a question: why is this the first five star review for an eatery I think I have ever submitted? Read moreFood was very good. Wife's Mac and cheese burger with pulled pork was tasty and very piggy. I ordered salt and pepper calamari and this was also very good. Chips are very good also. The meat was moist and full of flavour. It came with vegetables and they hadn't been ignored either, the pumpkin and carrots were caramelised, the broccoli was crunchy in the stalk but tender in the florets. The barramundi was moist and flakey, the mash potato was buttery and the vegetables had received the same attention.
Highly recommend and this is likely to become a regular...
