Service friendly enough...

I ordered the baked camembert and asked if instead of the bread and the brown sugar sauce I could have a side salad with it. Well.. no side salad and they did give a 'wine sauce' which is what I didn't order.

The 'baked' camembert looked like someone had unwrapped a store bought camembert and put it on the bonnet of someone's car in the sun for ten minutes. Not baked at all, but just warm and sweaty (you know, like when you leave the cheese out of the fridge). Not offensive , so I ate it all.

My sons ordered garlic bread (yum they said) and both had chicken parmigiana with 3 cheeses. The chips on the side they gave a 10/10 , said they were very crunchy and the coating was delish.. the chicken schnitzel was ok.. chicken cooked well , not too dry and they couldn't tell if it had 3 cheeses on it...just tasted like one. I looked over and saw a piece of real bacon on it.. tasted it. Was good.

My pork belly seemed like it had been reheated in the oven. Pork crackling was only 'crackling' on half of it.. the other side, tough and not crispy at all. The scallops, nice.. the asparagus could have been cooked a touch longer, but still ok. For the money, I wouldn't order it again.

The salads were not the usual run of the mill tomato, rocket, spinach, red onion, grated carrot and cucumber mix.. well that's what we got, but at least it had a decent dressing. I enjoyed the salad very much and didn't leave anything on my plate.

The merlot accompanying my meal was awesome, but in this hot weather, I asked for an iceblock. The waitress happily obliged.

Would I come back again? Yes I would, but I'll order something different. I hear the chicken wings with ranch dressing are to die for. Also good specials on certain days which I will take advantage of.

Cleanliness - good Atmosphere - good , tv screen up high playing music. Friendly staff - one of them was, the other just a little belligerent over the missing side salad with my entree. Efficiency - good. For three of us, only 2 serviettes , cutlery clean Mains came out when I was still eating entree. No...don't do that. Place wasn't busy so it's easy to keep an eye on my progress.

Not a bad experience, I only visited because the awesome Brushfoot cafe had just closed for...

1 week ago I called the quarrie to make a big table booking to celebrate my husbands birthday (16 people). During the phone call i ask and was told by the lovely guy on the phone that I had a few options when it came to split billing/paying our bill on the night. Pay whole table in one payment. Split the table to 4 payments. Neither of those were possible because those coming were separate families/couples and there were more than 4 of them. Then there's the third option we got told- Go up and pay individually at the bar and mention that we were a big table and to wait before cooking until everyone placed their order. This is what we opted for.

We got there on the night and was seated. I told everyone about ordering and paying at the bar so they went to the bar. While there my sister-in-law heard a lady hounding the lovely waitress that was trying to take their order (Who we were later told is the manager). The manager said flat out no to us placing our order at the bar and said we had to order as a whole table and pay as a whole table or only split it 4 ways. I mentioned to the manager that I was told differently on the phone and tried to explain to her but she fobbed me off and said rather rudely to "just go sit down and she'll sort it later".

Some of our guests didn't know where the toilets were so they ask and were told rather rudely how to get to the toilet.

Overall the waitresses were lovely and accommodating, the guy who took my booking over the phone was lovely but the manager came across as rather rude and didn't seem she had even a few seconds to listen to what I had to say.

Food was also lovely but a steak that was asked to be medium well done but seemed to be blue (still bleeding on the plate). We told a waitress to please relay that to the cooks just so they could be sure it was done properly for other guests. She apologised and was very nice about. Maybe the manager should take leaf out of the...

Unbelievably bad experience here last night. Ordered 3 meals including two steaks - one of which was the $50 400g Rib Eye. Both steaks ordered as Medium-Rare. The Porterhouse was only just passable as a Medium which was ok. The Rib Eye was Medium - Well Done. On complaining to the "Manager" I was told to wait so she could sort it out. I had to follow up myself after 15 minutes, only to be told there was nothing she could do. After a few minutes of frustration another staff member told me that because I had eaten some there's nothing could be done. He demanded I bring the plate of food up to the bar to examine and then proceeded to argue that the Steak was cooked to perfection. I persisted and got him to use Google to check how steaks should be cooked. After about 10 minutes of arguements at the bar (What the hell...?) he begrudgingly refunded me the $50. I shook hands with him and as I walked a way the female Manager accused me of being "sexist" !!!!!!!!! WA Customer Service has never been great - but this was the worst I've experienced in over 30 years here. I've never had to complain about a meal before in my life - so don't think I'm one of those people. I do not recommend this venue unfortunately as I am a local and would love to be able to support a...

Visit Date: Thursday 28 August, ~5:25pm Dined in for the Thursday Night $10 Rib Special and was not disappointed โœ…๏ธ Booking a table is highly recommended, as The Quarie Bar & Brasserie was very crowded and many tables around ours were already reserved. We booked a table online prior to arrival. On arrival, we waited ~5 minutes to be seated; there was no staff at the front desk and they were all pre-occupied ๐Ÿ•” Then a staff member took menus for us and guided us to our table. Orders can be made via mobile device by scanning the QR code on the table standee ๐Ÿ“ฑ Cutlery and serviettes were already provided on the table ๐Ÿด Self-serve water, sauces and plates are available inside the premises ๐Ÿšฐ๐Ÿฝ We ordered 2 x $10 Rib Specials with chips sides ($5 each) + processing fee of $0.99 ๐Ÿ’ณ (Total: $30.99.) The food arrived very quickly (9 minutes), which we hypothesized that the quick serving was due to preparing all the ribs and sides in advance for the estimated high demand ๐Ÿƒโ€โ™‚๏ธ The pork ribs were cooked, but not soft, with a lot of bones leftover ๐Ÿ– The amount of BBQ sauce and chips were generous. The chips were crispy and there was no salt ๐ŸŸ The portion was enough for a dinner meal. Overall, I enjoyed it, would like to return for the other meal deals.

The wife and I had lunch here on Saturday. The setting is your typical gastro-pub, with a good selection of meals from Nachos, steaks, fish and chips, to grilled items, as well as deserts. My wife ordered the fish and chips and salad, while ordered the Hamburger and chips. We also ordered the nachos to share. The nachos were great, my wife said they were the best she had for quiet a while, I agreed with her, even though Iโ€™m not really a fan, it was tasty and we both enjoyed them. My wife enjoyed the fish, she said it wasnโ€™t oily and was extremely tasty. I ordered the burger to my liking, well done, with a fried egg. The burger was good, but not the best burger I ever had, nothing to right home about. The chips were just okay, not very crispy, but weโ€™re fluffy in the middle, I had a few but didnโ€™t finish either the burger or the chips. Our meal came to $85 dollars which included a carafe of lemon lime and bitters. The waitress did a great job of serving us and made sure we were happy and attended too while we were there. Overall a reasonable lunch, good atmosphere, and friendly staff. If your in the area give it a go.
