Coffee Code — Restaurant in Western Australia

I love the food and normally this place has great service. But I just had appauling service and it made me write this review straight after ordering.

The waitress at the front counter who was a middle aged blonde lady asked me "what can I get for you?" And then when I told her what I wanted to order she had her back turned to me and was fixing the drinks. Why would you ask me what I wanted and then turn around and do something else?? She turned around to me 10 seconds later and then I told her what I wanted and she says "I can't hear you, speak up" multiple times, even though I'm speaking in a normal voice at a relatively quiet shop and she is standing right in front of me.

The way she spoke to me was very unfriendly and she looked extremely impatient when taking my order. Not even a greeting or a thank you from her. Please do not work in customer service if you treat your customers like...

When I had to visit block DD, I discovered this place by accident. During my six weeks of treatment, I treated myself to the beetroot, hummus and avocado breakfast and creamy almond cappuccino which to me is the best in town. The staff are kind and always make sure my order is what I asked for. The cafe is always pack with doctors and nurses so sometimes food can take awhile. A reasonable wait though.

Oh this place is so good!!! I had an appointment at the hospital and thought might as well I went there early to grab some lunch beforehand. The teriyaki chicken bowl and coffee were TO DIE FOR!!! I wish there's more chickens 😁 I also got the chicken caesar baguette for take-away. YUUUMMM!! The place was packed, with a lot of nurses and hospital staff going there, but it's also open to the public and you could sit either indoor or outdoor or on the grass outside so it's quite a nice setting and atmosphere.
