I’ve worked near here for a few years and like any cafe, staff change and so I really think it’s worth to try here if you haven’t been for a while. At the moment, they have a couple of friendly lads and barista with the most amazing red hair and the coffee is nothing short of incredible. Went there beside Perth Children Hospital on the 1st May lunch time, ordered a wrap to be toasted, the one who took my order was on the phone and couldn't even remember she took my order, next min another customer ordered exact ally same thing, when my order was done she said she couldn't remember me so my food was given to the other customer, my son was in hospital so I couldn't be bothered to argue I just wait for next wrap, she didn't even apologize at all, shocking service. Xpresso Code is pretty good considering it's at a hospital. The staff are very friendly and welcoming. Ordered a cappuccino coffee here in the morning whilst the wife was in hospital. The coffee was pretty good, so much so that I had another later that afternoon with some lunch. Tried the chicken bagel which was decent, however the bagel was toasted too much in my opinion.
