Coffee Anatomy — Restaurant in Western Australia

I used to be a regular at Coffee Anatomy - and would proudly recommend their smoothies and food with a "You get what you pay for, and the prices are high". Ordering through their app is easy and works well, and the service is pretty quick considering how busy it gets. Paella Fridays were such a favourite.

But. The quality has definitely dropped over the last two years. Portions are smaller, prices are higher, and the brekky wraps are full of sauce and nausea. They earned the dubious honour of being the source of the only coffee I've thrown out.

The appeal has worn down, and while their milkshakes are still delightful and their lunches really creative and yummy, it doesn't extend to all their offerings nor consistently across the weeks.

I imagine their rent and operating costs are too high, and cutting back to stay in business has hurt their offering. And if so, that's one of the greatest losses to the QEII site, as their former glory really...

Had a school group booking come through. The Manager on duty that Thursday very thoughtfully, given the short notice, managed to reserve indoor seating for the large group. Given the woolly winter weather this was much appreciated by all! In addition, despite prewarning our students to BYO their lunch, because they had indoor seating most of them did end up spending between $1-40 on food and drink options. The service was ‘spot-on’ given the lunch-time rush. Many students were positively amazed at the large portion sizing and delicious food. It was a treat all round and made our excursion day to Harry Perkins Institute...

Never been disappointed, the food is always amazing and fresh. I cannot tell you how good it is, just try for yourself. Also I know some people say the staff is abrupt, they've always been nice to me and are obviously very busy almost all day due to the fact its downstairs from Harry Perkins, they just don't have time to make small talk, which is fine!
