From the moment I walked in, he greeted me like I was royalty. Not in the fake “Hello sir” way, but with genuine “Alright, legend?” energy that made me feel like I was walking into the Cheers bar — if Cheers served salt & pepper chips.
He’s got the order-taking down to an art form. You say what you want once — boom, it’s locked in. No mix-ups, no confusion, no “Did you say prawns or pork?” wizardry. It’s like he’s got a sixth sense for people’s go-to orders.
And don’t even get me started on the speed. Blink, and your order’s already bagged up, with extra prawn crackers thrown in like he’s the Robin Hood of takeaway treats. Honestly, if Formula 1 teams moved as fast as he does during Friday night rush hour, Lewis Hamilton would be sweating.
By the time I left, I was full, happy, and slightly emotional. Service like that deserves recognition, awards, and possibly a statue outside the shop.
So if you’re ever near the place and you see him working — do yourself a favour and order something. Doesn’t matter what. He could sell you boiled rice and somehow make it feel like a gourmet experience.

Was not understanding, and did not care that i had to pay an axtra $6 for ordering online! I thought ordering online was the prefered method as this service Is provided on the website. Not Happy!
Your response is not a valid excuse for having different prices online or dine in or takeaway. How am i as a customer meant to know that a website IN YOUR BUSINESS NAME is not managed by your business?. I ordered online because of COVID19 and the convenience offered online while i was at another meeting. I then copped your rude, unfriendly customer service in person. When i got home part of my order was missing. Make all the excuses you like but until you start acknowledging your faults, you will continue to receive 1 star reviews. You say im the first to complain? LIES. Ive read the google reviews.

I ordered online using the website, went to collect at the time I was told, the first problem was that my order didnt appear to go through on their end, but I had multiple forms of confirmation. The lady at the counter proceeded to tell me they dont have a website, it must have been tucker fox... well considering it was commodorechinese.com.au pretty sure it was your website, it may have been run by tucker fox but that isnt my issue. Ended up waiting half hr while I presume they made the order. Came out ready to go, when I checked the docket, I noticed one item was missing. Waited another 5 mins. Got home, one dish I ordered with egg noodle, got cripsy instead & the Honey Chicken was missing the HONEY! I have absolutly no problem with waiting if the food was good. I do have a problem with lack of sercice and absolutly zero care toward the situation. I didnt even get a "sorry about the mix up" but instead "you know if would have been cheaper if you phoned up instead of online". How bloody rude! Last I checked, ordering online was for ease.
