Domino's Pizza Albany (WA) — Restaurant in Western Australia

My husband and I love a good domino’s pizza, we always order delivery and never had a problem but tonight was a little different and pretty frustrating. I ordered a pizza and 2 sides for me and my daughter to share. Halfway through the payment side of things the app crashed and closed down. I didn’t think too much about it as it hadn’t fully processed. I was about to start a new order when I thought I’d check my banking app to see if the money had come out, it had. I then thought to call the store to see if they’d received the order as the money had come out. When I called I was placed on hold which was no problem I understand Friday night would be a busy time but there was no hold as such the phone was just placed down and I could still hear everything going on in the background. I was on hold for a little over 4 mins when the phone call suddenly ended. I then called back again and someone answered and I could hear the background noise in the store but no one was talking. I said hello a few times but it seemed like no one was there. I now have to make the drive into town with a very hungry 2year old to figure out if the store has actually received my order. Only gave them 1 star because I couldn’t go lower. We were fatigued after driving for over 5 hours from Esperance to Albany therefore opted for a Dominoes pizza. At 6:00pm we ordered a chicken camembert and mega meaty over the phone and were advised Delivery would be between 30 to 40 mins MAX! We called twice, the first time at 7 only to be told that our pizza maybe either be being cut or on its way!!!! At 7:30 we called and the girl informed us that they were soooo busy and she had on idea whether our pizza was in the oven, being cut, or on its way! (By this stage we were famished !!) Could not believe what I was hearing!!! Finally the 2 pizzas were delivered - cold with soggy bases even though we requested crusty bases!! You would think after paying a ridiculous price of $48 the pizzas’ would’ve have been something special, instead we experienced substandard food and appalling customer service.....Dominos, if you can’t cook and deliver on time don’t make deadlines you can’t keep OR EMPLY MORE STAFF!!!! Pizza was average the customer service was terrible a particular lady serving was rude to each and every customer who walked in, i was shocked to witness how some people were spoken to, this was the first time we have ever been to Albany we live over 5 hours away and this was a weekend away trip, i would not go back to Dominos Albany , we had just spent over 5.5 hours driving to Albany and were on a weekend trip, we had no cups in the car to share the 1.25L drink with our 3 kids, i asked the same cashier for some plastic cups i was even happy to pay a surcharge for them this was refused entirely i explained our circumstances of just taking such a long drive and being late at night we had no idea where a shop would be, the cashier was rude and still refused saying "the boss counts the cups" very poor customer service and very un-...
